- Adult BVM with accumulator - Suction unit - Complete Oral Airway Kit - Complete Nasal Airway Kit - Quality BLS manikin such as Brad

Oxygen Administration

- Suction Unit - Airway Manikin

- Oxygen system with BVM, NRB, - Oral/Nasal Adjuncts, Pocket Mask

Testing Instructions

Rotating Testing Stations

Station: Combined OPA/NPA Station

This station will test the candidate’s ability to: 1.

Demonstrate the insertion of an oral airway. (pp 339–340, Skill Drill 9-3)

2. Demonstrate the insertion of a nasal airway. (pp 341–342, Skill Drill 9-5)

Instructions: Read the scripted lines on the skills sheet and observe for good technique

Precautions: Do not lead the student or correct performance. This is a testing station and no feedback should be offered.
